Park, Circus, and Park Again Saturday, June 23

Travis got up this morning and got us donuts for a special breakfast treat.  Then he headed to worship team practice.  Isaiah played toys while I worked on a blog post and we finished getting ready.  We were just getting ready to walk to the park when Daddy got back from church so Daddy joined us.  While at the park this time...Isaiah finally conquered the red twisty slide...and once he did he LOVED it and did the slide about 50 more times before we convinced him it was time to head home to have some lunch and then go to the circus!

I love this picture!

While we were making lunch Isaiah was practicing his piano skills!

After lunch we loaded into the car to head to the circus.  We told Isaiah that we would be in the car for awhile (hour or so) and that he could take a rest.  Mommy set a good example and took a rest, but not Isaiah.  He was too excited to see animals!

That is a pine cone that he is holding.  He found it with Uncle Lance right before we left their house and he wanted to take it with him.

We had reserved seats at the circus... right in the middle section of the three rings so we had a pretty good view!  There were elephant rides before the circus began that we enjoyed watching.

Of course I wanted to get a picture of Isaiah and I at the circus, but a certain someone wasn't in the mood!

Do either of these count?
So when he wasn't cooperating I told Travis to take our picture...me, Jolene, and Lance getting ready for the circus to start!

Isaiah was entertained before the circus started (and during) by making faces with Aunt Jolene.

We got to see them getting the tigers ready.  The tigers were the first act of the circus.

Isaiah loved the presentation of the colors-flags.

The show has begun and Isaiah and Daddy are busy watching the action!  However, Isaiah didn't sit still long he liked to move from lap to lap.

This man and boy were roller skating on a small circular table and they had some pretty impressive tricks!

They even had a small dog show at the circus!

Then it was intermission and Isaiah and Daddy entertained each other by making more faces!

Pops had asked me to give a clown a hug...this was the best I could do.

The circus has begun again...

The bears were pretty impressive.

There was a crazy balancing act too.

And finally right at the end of the circus we saw the elephants!  They were fun to watch.

The circus ended with motorcycles in the cage of death.  Isaiah was hooked during this performance!

After dinner we went to the Old Spaghetti Factory to meet Andrew and Anaya for dinner.
When we finally left Boise to head back to Jolene and Lance's house...Isaiah took a SHORT 15 minutes car nap.

When he got home he was SUPER rested...and REALLY wanted to go to the park again.  Since our vacation is almost over we left him go one more time!  Here are some fun videos of us enjoying the red twisty slide.

Once again we had another fun, and full day!
