August 17,18,19 Weekend

Ah... 4 day work weeks and 3 day weekends are a WONDERFUL thing!

Friday, Daddy did a little garage cleaning and found these awesome red glasses!

Saturday, Daddy bought us donuts for breakfast and Isaiah very much enjoyed his treat!

Saturday, we went to the Clackamas County Fair with Nonna and Pops!  We spent most of our time at the fair enjoying all the barns of animals.

Sunday, Isaiah stayed in Sunday School and had a great time!

Sunday, was Nonna's birthday and the boys sang her happy birthday!

Sunday, all the boys took a bath together at Nonna and Pop's new house!

Family Celebrating!

On Thursday, August 16 we celebrated Grandad's 80th birthday, Dan and Elise's 9th wedding anniversery, and Nonna's 56th birthday (a couple days early)!  We went out to dinner at Olive Garden and then came back to Nonna and Pop's house for dessert.  There were number candles on the cakes and rectangle legos (we wanted to keep the shapes party theme going... Campbell- star, Kalina- Circles, Grandad and Nonna-rectangles).

Isaiah wanted to help Nonna...

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Muffins

I had pinned a yummy looking peanut butter chocolate chip muffins recipe on Pintrest...so last week Isaiah and I tried out the new recipe.  We had lots of fun making the muffins...

However, they didn't taste as yummy as I had hoped so the pin has since been deleted from my boards.  We will not be making this recipe again, but we will continue to cook together-such fun memories being made!

Isaiah LOVES Uncle Dan's Pottery Wheel Rap

Isaiah requests to watch Uncle Dan... DAILY and sometimes MULTIPLE times a day!  He loves it so much that he now has it memorized!  He has also started to copy the hand motions that uncle Dan does in the video.  Maybe this video will help teach him how to be a good potter some day.

Imagine Play

On Tuesday, August 14th Isaiah and I meet Elise and her boys at Imagine Play.  I had never been there before, but it was fun, and I am sure we will be going back more this wet and rainy fall/winter so Isaiah can get some energy out!

There is a bounce house with a slide and this was by far Isaiah's favorite place to play at Imagine Play.  I had to show him how to climb the steps one time and then he was off...he jumped and did the slide time and time again.  It didn't take too long before he was super sweaty too.

All the boys stayed together for awhile while Isaiah checked out what all was at Imagine Play.  Eventually, they each found their favorite spots within Imagine play and played for longer periods of time.

This was exploring the train...

This was exploring the airplane...

This was exploring the house/kitchen area...

This is exploring the camping area...
  A very full tent...

This is exploring the vet area... (Isaiah never really stayed in this section to explore, but Campbell happily played here for while.)

There was also a train/cars table area to explore...but none of the boys were that interested (this time)

Before we were getting ready to go the big boys enjoyed the train again...

...and Greyson enjoyed the airplane again.

We had a lot of fun playing at Imagine Play!
