Holiday Baking Continues

My favorite Christmas cookie recipe of ALL times is Chocolate Ribbons.  A cookie press is a necessary tool to make these yummy cookies.  Unfortunately I haven't had the best of luck with owning a good cookie press until I ordered this beauty...

My FIRST batch of delicious Chocolate Ribbon cookies of the season.  And tonight we gave Isaiah a ribbon cookie and he LOVED it and said MORE...yes, he is my son!

In case your taste buds are calling you to make these scruptious cookies here is the recipe...

Chocolate Ribbons Recipe
3 oz cream cheese
1 c margarine
1 c sugar
1 egg yolk
1 t vanilla
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate melted
2 1/2 c flour

Beat cream cheese, margarine, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla until smooth and fluffy.  Add melted chocolate- beat until combined.  Stir in flour mix until well blended.  Force through cookie press with ribbon disk.  Use a knife to cut dough into cookies.  Bake 8 to 10 minutes.

Glaze
3 sq. semi sweet chocolate
2 T margarine
sprinkles


Melt chocolate and butter.  Mix well.  Frost and decorate cookies.
