4th of July Snack

My mom found a great 4th of July recipe a few years ago. The recipe is for making 4th of July sparklers. We have made them each year and love them!

Mom is melting the chocolate and this year we used dark chocolate...which is super yummy!
Putting the chocolate on the pretzel rods was a little messy.
A few finished products!
Mom was the official chocolate spreader and I was the official sprinkler.
Mom and I having fun cooking in her kitchen.
Chilling the finished product in the refrigerator.
What is a cooking experience without being silly while eating your finished product?
Isaiah just got to enjoy the 4th of July treat and he loves them too!
Isaiah thinks this is a great afternoon snack.
He very carefully ate his sparkler for awhile...
He enjoyed his snack so much that he did get a little messy!
Check out those sweet little hands getting dirty as he feeds himself his yummy sparkler.
Don't worry I also fed him some strawberries for his afternoon snack which he loved too.
