Our small group planned a book themed baby shower for Allison and new baby Emery!
This group picture cracks me up... 1)because Angela is holding baby Emery (not Allison- Emery's Mommy). 2) because we snapped it before the shower even began because Hannah had to go home to her sick daughter. 3)because someone suggested we put our hand our hip to make us look better...our small group girls are so fun!

Here is the message we shared during the shower and then we prayed for baby Emery and family!
Here are the table decorations, which I put together. Stacks of books tied with ribbon displayed on cake plates. After the shower Allison got to take all the books home to add to her library.

children's book around this framed quote.

We kept the food/snacks pretty simple, but people seemed to enjoy them as most of them were gone at the end of the shower. Hannah made her now famous strawberry lemonade and the awesome fruit caterpillar! Gloria provided the yummy cheese and gluten free crackers. I made the lollipop flower arrangements.

Angela loves to hold the babies! Last year she got to hold Esther, this year Emery,
and next year she can hold Rachel's baby!
We asked everyone to give Allison a book instead of a card. She got an amazing
book collection and some great baby girl clothes!

Awe baby is looking so cute and sleepy too. Next week going to attend my niece’s baby shower at one of the exotic event venues Chicago, but I’m confined what to gift her. If anyone has any suggestion, please share it here.
