Sleep Update and Friday, February 8th Happenings

On Thursday, February 7th, we moved Esther from sleeping in the Rock N Play in our bedroom to the Pack N Play in our bedroom.  We were feeling like maybe she was getting too long for the Rock N Play and would be a happier sleeper with a little more room to stretch.  Esther is an AMAZING sleeper and we have NOTHING to complain about her sleep habits!

(sorry this isn't a clear picture, but it was dark in our bedroom and I didn't want to wake her up)

Esther slept great and was full of energy Friday morning, February 8th!

Dressed up for a play date this morning!

Sarah, Lily, and Nathan came over today for a play date.  Since it was Friday Travis was off of work and home doing a few tasks during our play date.  He vacuumed the up the stairs and the upstairs hallway and bedrooms.  Isaiah and Lily were seriously entertained by watching Travis vacuum and because of this Sarah and I had a nice visit time!

Travis also got to eat lunch with us.  After lunch he held the two littlest, Esther and Nathan!

After the play date I worked upstairs in Esther's room  to seal the painters tape so we would be ready to paint the pink band later this weekend.  We did paint the pink band (it looks great), but I don't think I had Travis take any painting action shots (oops).  I will be sure to post a picture of the final bedroom decorations though.

Several recent evenings (around 9 pm or later) I have been thinking a chocolate chip cookie sounded good, but I have never been motivated enough to make them, especially that late in the evening.  So on Friday we also made chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon.  Isaiah was very excited to help Mommy and Daddy use the mixer and make cookies!

After a full day Esther was ready for more sleep time in her Pack N Play again!
