Airplane Ride to Florida

We chose not to share the pre-details of our adoption until we knew it was going to happen and be official. I am happy to share that we have a daughter!

We flew to Florida on Monday, November 19th.  Our flight left Portland, OR at 1:20 pm.  We had a quick plane change in Denver, CO and we arrived in Ft. Lauderdale at 11:00 pm.  After renting a car we drove to our hotel, arrived around 1:30 am, and didn't make it to bed until 2:30 am.  It was a long day of travel!

We had a very full Nonna's car, but we made it up to the airport in just one car.

Isaiah was a trooper and carried his own backpack...and he looked so cute!

   Isaiah LOVED the moving sidewalks!

Isaiah LOVED eating lunch in the airport and getting to watch all the action down below. Airplanes moving, lights flashing, birds flying, rain falling, etc... there was a lot to see!

Time to board our airplane.

Sitting together on the airplane before takeoff.  Isaiah was SO excited!

Isaiah was happily entertained on the airplane with all the fun activities we packed for him.  Stickers were a big hit!

Getting the airplane snacks was pretty fun too!

He was brave and wore Pops' headphones so he could enjoy some iPod time.

We took this picture for Grammy and Grandad...Isaiah is eating Lorna Dunes!

We taught Isaiah how to play VegSamurai...he is now in love with vegetable chopping!

We had a great day of travel!
