Nap#2 3/4 successful. Daddio rocked his new baby to sleep, put him in the bed and then two hours later......woke him up.....I thought he had slept long enough and was concerned he wouldn't want to sleep during the night. Boy was I wrong on two fronts. #1 this boy gets ANGRY when you wake him up. #2 this boy LOVES to sleep. So we are learning how things work with him. After he was done being mad at me for waking him up from his nap he settled in and had a good evening. Then it was time for night bedtime. We did not know how he would sleep during the night, and didn't know if we should try our bed, the crib or try to make him a mattress on the floor. Well Kalina decided to try the crib that the hotel brought to us. He was holding two cups that he had been playing with, and fell asleep in the crib holding both of the cups. He's been asleep since 10:45 last night and it is currently 7:00 a.m. and he's still sleeping soundly. Note the cup that is by his elbow in the picture below.
James 1:27 says, “Religion that God accepts as pure and faultless is this; to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” God desires for orphans of all nations to be loved, cared for, and adopted into Christian families-ultimately so they can become saved, and be adopted into His eternal family through Jesus Christ!

adorable! i love him...
What a little sweetie all snuggled up in his bed!!!
Briar grieved her foster family by sleeping A LOT in those first couple weeks home. It sounds like maybe your son is doing the same thing; not necessarily a bad thing, although it is healthy for baby to outwardly cry for them as well. We let Briar sleep as long as she wanted during the day and she still slept 12-14 hours at night! Praying for you that your sweet boy will transition well and that he remains a good sleeper!
Your Dad just called........am anxious to see more pics as you spend the next days of your journey. Cute little man!
He is so cute! I'm glad to hear that he is doing so well and I love seeing all your pictures. I cannot wait to see him in person.
Love, Kelsey
