James 1:27 says, “Religion that God accepts as pure and faultless is this; to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” God desires for orphans of all nations to be loved, cared for, and adopted into Christian families-ultimately so they can become saved, and be adopted into His eternal family through Jesus Christ!

Weekend in Sunriver
A couple weekends ago we went to Sunriver with the Pucketts and Sargents. We had a great time hanging out together. Here are some pictures from our trip.
The house we stayed in had a refrigerator that counted the ounces of water going into your cup. This provided for lots of fun competitions to see how much water we each could drink in a day.
On Friday we went to a Nature Observatory Park in Sunriver. There was a small museum that we looked in and trails we walked on. This pictures is documenting Josh and Adam trying to decide which poop goes to which animal.
Sarah found herself being eaten by a tiny toy dinosaur in the museum.
Josh was the famous tour guide. He diligently read every piece of knowledge of the paper to us!
Gorgeous scene! This is where we were supposed to see a bald eagle that a staff person was feeding, but unfortunately we never got a glimpse of the bird.
Adam had brought his cool mini tripod so we got to take a group shot.
Yeah for matching sweat shirts! On Friday Sarah, Brook, and I went in the everything is 12.99 and under store at the Sunriver Village. We decide it would be fun to get matching sweat shirts. After much laughter this was our pick. I think they look great on us. This picture is of us standing in front of the Lava Caves.

Project Time
We began the project of painting the guest room that will soon become our nursery. We are still in project mode and not finished with our project, but here is what we have done so far. I will post more pictures as the room becomes more complete.
The orange section is done and I love the color. We are getting ready to paint red at the top of the room. Unfortunately we picked a very hot week to begin this project.
