After a morning of great news it was hard to focus and be productive...so instead we enjoyed the sunshine and water at Snyder park! I think Isaiah would LIVE at a park if we let him. We picked to go to this park because it has a water feature, but once we got there Isaiah was saying no water and was more interested in the slides and other park equipment so we let him play there first.
Clapping with Aunt Cheryl...and thinking I made it down the slide!
We convinced Kristin she should go down this slide...I don't think she had too fun of a ride.
Then we convinced Kelsey to ride in the circle spin. I think she enjoyed her ride better!
But Isaiah wanted Kelsey to get out so he could watch the red circle spin instead.
Eventually, Isaiah asked Mommy to ride...there was no enjoyment...that thing is horrible! I instantly thought I was going to barf.
After exploring all the park equipment we did enjoy the water feature. It felt so good since it was a pretty hot afternoon! Isaiah was a little hesitant at first, and a little clingy to Mommy, but eventually he warmed up (or really cooled off) and enjoyed the water!
We left the park around 3 and headed back to our house for nap time. After nap time we had dinner and then headed over to my grandparents house to have one final evening of hanging out with our family. Isaiah convinced Kristin and Kelsey it was a good time to do a little bike riding. However, Isaiah wasn't the one doing much riding! He really liked it when Kristin rode the little bike or when he pushed the bike around. We are obviously still working on his bike riding skills!
While our family was here over the weekend we got to host Kristin and Kelsey each night, which meant LOTS OF FUN! We stayed up late-playing games and chatting!
We had a full, fun day that will for sure we a remembered one!
