Fizzy Paint, Picnic Dinner, Walk and Playing at the Park, And Ice Cream

On Monday I wanted/needed to go grocery shopping...at Winco (my once a month to once every two month trip).  First, Isaiah and I went to visit Campbell, Greyson, and Elise for a few hours before tackling the grocery shopping task.  Campbell asked Elise to do Fizzy Paint with Isaiah.  I love that Campbell always wants to do projects with Isaiah.  Isaiah was a little hesitant at first, but once he got started he didn't want the fun to stop!  Elise just put baking soda all over the cookie sheet and made cups of different colored vinegar.  They used medicine droppers to get the vinegar from the cup onto the baking soda cookie sheet and once the vinegar hit the baking soda it made little bubbles and fizzed...so fun!

After lunch and a little more play time we headed to Winco.  Isaiah played with my i-pod and was happily entertained while I went up and down every isle collecting the things on my list.  We are now stocked again!

When we got home I quickly put the cold food away and then got Isaiah down for a nap.  However, the little stinker didn't end up napping, so eventually I got him up and feed him dinner.  Which worked out great because when Daddy got home we loaded up, stopped by Subway to get sandwiches for our dinner, and then headed to Crab Tree Park.  We enjoyed a yummy picnic dinner and a little play time at the park.

Then we drove to a walking path and park area that we enjoyed for a little more outside time.  Isaiah was having fun playing with his friend shadow!  He even made sure to find the tallest slide to go down...no slide stops this kid!

On our way home from our fun evening we decided to share a Dairy Queen treat!  Yum!

Our evening was packed with fun so it ended up feeling like an extension of our weekend and we already had enjoyed a three day weekend (due to Trav's new job-that he is LOVING).  We are trying to make a few more family of three memories and today was a good day!
