Visit to the Sherwood Fire Station (11-10)

Our friend Mark works for the Tualatin Valley Fire Department so he hooked us up with a fun weekend playdate at the Sherwood Fire Station.  We met the Stevens at the fire station so Isaiah and Elijah (their son) could get a tour/check things out.  Of course both boys were a little shy and nervous with the fire fighters, but they also both had a great time.  Isaiah LOVED the big tires and he is still talking about getting to ride the fire truck!  The dads (and probably moms too) had a fantastic time getting to see all the trucks and equipment too.

Isaiah was a little nervous to check out the driver's seat.

Daddy wasn't nervous though!

Here are the pictures I took while we were riding in the fire truck...Isaiah was clinging to me for dear life!

Travis rode up front and also managed to step on the horn (which was at his feet).

Jan and Chancellor

Mark and Elijah (too bad I didn't realize this picture wasn't the greatest and take another one).

Right before we left we took a few different group photos in front of the huge fire truck. The Sherwood fire fighter crew was amazing!  We had a wonderful visit.
