On Thursday morning Isaiah and I meet Brook, Michaela, Josiah, Sarah, Lily, and Nathan at Snyder park for a play date. Since we had been at this park earlier in the week Isaiah felt very comfortable getting right into the water and cooling off!
He loves jumping in all the small puddles!
I love how cooperative Lily is...She had gone to visit Josiah and I told her to smile...ADORABLE!
Even though the water is fun- the kids also wanted to check out the playground-they let us know by just walking towards the play area- I guess we are still working on boundaries and permission. Isaiah tends to do his own things at the park while the girls, Michaela and Lily, tend to stick together. But today they had a few moments where they were all enjoying being together.
Emily (my college roommate is here from Hong Kong) and I finally got to see her and meet baby Joy! Ruthie (Emily's sister) came over to hang out too! We had yummy home-made pizza and salad for dinner and just enjoyed the afternoon/evening together.
Somehow the picture of me holding Joy didn't turn out...good thing I will get to see her again in a bout a week!
Emily brought Isaiah a toy taxi from Hong Kong that he has been having a lot of fun playing!
