Isaiah was a great helper in getting our support letters stuffed, sealed, and mailed!
In case we don't have your address, but you are a blog or facebook follower and would also like to help us on our amazing journey of bringing another little boy into our home we have included a copy of our support letter. The letter gives directions about how to make a tax deductible donation on our behalf. Thank you in advance to everyone who will help financial!

Dear Family and Friends,
On November 8, 2008 we mailed many of you a support letter, and
due to generous blessings from our family and friends, and God’s provision, Isaiah
came home May 9, 2010. Almost four years since beginning our first adoption
process we are honored to be adopting again. We are requesting your involvement
through prayer and finances with this adoption as well.
In February of 2011 we started talking about expanding our
family. We made the decision to try to have a biological child based on timing
and our financial picture. However, after two miscarriages Kalina found out she
was a type 1 diabetic. This changed our thoughts on how we want to expand our
family and led us back to adoption. We are excited to be adopting again and to
meet the child God will place into our arms. Isaiah is also very excited to be
a big brother and is continually talking about having a little brother or
sister.
Kalina has been reading Jesus Calling by Sarah Young.
Recently she was encouraged by, “Stay calmly conscious of Me today, no matter
what. Remember that I go before you as well as with you into the day. Nothing
takes Me by surprise. I will not allow circumstances to overwhelm you, so long
as you look to Me. I will help you cope with whatever the moment presents.
Collaborating with Me brings blessings
that far outweigh all your troubles. Awareness of My Presence contains Joy
that can endure all eventualities.” II Corinthians 4:17 says, “For our light and momentary troubles are
achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.” This
devotional and scripture is a good reminder of how much God loves and blesses
us no matter what the circumstances.
We have chosen to adopt domestically and are working with
Advocates for Children and Families in Florida. We were told the process for a
match could be six months to a year, but less than three months into our
process, we just received a match with a birthmother that is due in early
September! We are very excited about this news and will continue to trust God and
his plan for expanding our family.
Adoption is an expensive endeavor and we expect our expenses
to be around $30,000. If you would like to be a part of God bringing our baby home,
you can send your tax-deductible gift between now and August 27th to the address below. Please make your check
payable to: Lifesong for Orphans. You may designate how the donation might be
used by writing “Morgan account # 2893”
in the memo section of your check. (Note: In following IRS guidelines, your
donation is to Life International, which retains full discretion over its use,
but intends to honor the donor’s suggested use.)

Dear church, family, and friends of Travis and Kalina Morgan,
Lifesong for Orphans (www.lifesongfororphans.org) is a non-profit Christian ministry dedicated to help meet the needs of orphan children around the world, and obey God’s call to “visit the fatherless…in their affliction” (James 1:27).
The number of children worldwide without families to love and care for them is astounding… there are over 147 million orphans worldwide!
God tells us in His word He has heard the cry of the orphaned and abandoned children (Psalm 10:17, 18) and He has made a way for them to be cared for – through adoption. As believers, He adopted us into His family through Jesus Christ, and did not leave us as spiritual orphans!
We believe adoption at its core is evangelism--a vital part of the Great Commission is bringing the mission field home. God desires orphans from all nations to be adopted into Christ-honoring families so they may ultimately be adopted into His eternal family through Jesus Christ. God calls us to fulfill James 1:27, “visit the fatherless…” but not all are called to adopt. Some are called to pray, some to give financially, some to go on mission trips, and some to adopt.
Travis and Kalina have sensed God’s call . . . and have joyfully stepped out in faith and obedience to adopt. As you may already know, adoption can cost $25,000-$35,000 and prevents many godly families from adopting. Lifesong believes God has raised up the Morgan family “for such a time as this…” We invite you to support them financially for this adoption. Funds donated to Lifesong for Orphans between now and August 27, 2012, will be given to help cover adoption expenses for this child. As a 501(c)3 organization, your gift is tax deductible.
*100% of all funds raised will go directly to cover adoption costs--nothing will be taken out for Lifesong for Orphans administrative costs.
Will you invest financially in the life of this precious child? . . . It will be an investment with eternal return.
God bless you for laying your treasures up in Heaven,
Andy Lehman
Vice President
p.s. I trust God will do great and mighty things through this, and all for His Glory!
