James 1:27 says, “Religion that God accepts as pure and faultless is this; to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” God desires for orphans of all nations to be loved, cared for, and adopted into Christian families-ultimately so they can become saved, and be adopted into His eternal family through Jesus Christ!

Playing Blocks
Before Isaiah came home we decided to purchase blocks from http://www.bekainc.com/shop/19/blocks/. When he first came home he wasn't really ready for the blocks. We tried to introduce the blocks on 7/5/2010, and he liked them alright, but still wasn't too into them yet. We hadn't played with the blocks too many more times until the last couple of weeks when we started playing blocks a lot! He no longer just wants to empty the tub of blocks, but now he has fun staking the blocks and making towers.
On Saturday I made a structure for him using every since block in our set! It was massive and took up a good half of our living room rug. Isaiah did a great job not knocking it over while I was constructing it.
In fact he did a great job not knocking it over even when I asked him to knock it down!
I got a little knocking over action from Isaiah in this video! However, I had to do most of the knocking over...silly boy! Normally this is his favorite part.
