I get the Family Fun magazine and one of my favorite parts of the magazine are the cake ideas. I found this barn cake idea before Isaiah even cake home. However, I decided to use this specific cake idea after he came home because he had fun being a duck for Halloween and recently has really been into cows so I thought this would be a perfect cake for his 2nd birthday celebration.
My dad (Pops) was my main helper in constructing this amazing cake! Thanks for all your help dad, I think it turned out great because of your great skills.

Dad did not like laying all the Twizzlers, but he was a good sport and helped anyways!
This is the barn portion of the cake-completed! Appreciate the pretzel fence as it caused us some troubles too and may have made my dad have a small triangle.
My mom helped bake a second batch of cupcakes when we realized we needed to make more of the barn animals.
My cousins, Kristin and Kelsey and sister, Elise were a great cupcake decorating team.
We made sure to include some cousin hangout silliness!
Travis helped too-by cutting some marshmallows in half.
