My sister, mom, and I had been talking about ways to teach our kids (grandkids) about giving to others during the Christmas season. We want our kids to learn the importance of giving to others but everyone is still young so we weren't sure how best to teach this. Our family has done Operation Christmas Child before so we decided to try this and see if we could make this one of our giving traditions with our kids. Our family got together one Friday evening, each bringing a variety of items to share, and then we packed several shoe boxes together. We had fun and I hope many kids are blessed from this ministry during this Christmas season.
