MudPuddles, a toy store in Sherwood, was having a 20% off everything in the store sale...so we did a little shopping. We found several good deals, but the line to check out was crazy long. So Isaiah and I came back to the van to hang out. He played, ate lunch, and played some more before Travis and Esther came back to the van. Esther did fine in line because she was in the carrier on Travis and took her morning nap.
Isaiah thought it was silly to take Daddy's sunglasses out and put his sunglasses in. Over and over!
After we were done at the toy store we walked into downtown Sherwood to check out the end of the Saturday market. We discovered a new splash area. We weren't really prepared for Isaiah to play, but we improvised (took off his socks and shoes) and let him explore for a bit (and get damp shorts and shirt).
We bought some huge and super delicious blackberries for Travis and I to snack on (only the kids had eaten lunch in the van) and we were getting hungry but wanted to let the kids play at the Woodhaven Park (the one Isaiah used to play at close to Nonna and Pops' old house). They had a blast playing!
Then we walked back into town and past the toy store to Baskin Robins for ice cream!
Since Esther wasn't a fan of the ice cream a bit ago...we just let her chew on a spoon.
We headed home and ventured through the car wash...which Isaiah thinks is wonderful!
In the evening we did an August family birthday celebration at Nonna and Pops.
Yep, more ice cream! Yum, Yum!
