Travis went to help Pops move heavy boulders to make a rock wall in the yard. The kids and I enjoyed playing outside on Nonna and Pop's covered patio. Esther played toys in her pack n play and Isaiah played with his dump truck in the dirt and had a snack.
After the yard work was done for the day we went and got dinner together and then went to Target. I had seen on the Frugal Northwest blog earlier in the week that some Gerber Good Start Formula was on sale, but based on the picture and information on the blog I didn't expect to find out that our formula was indeed on sale and for an amazing price! Target had the formula on sale for $16 plus there were two coupons which made each container about $13. Target was carrying a 20% extra can though...so that made for an incredible deal. We were used to paying $20 for the regular size. So we came home printed the needed coupons at our house, Aunt DeAnn's and Grammy and Grandad's house and off Travis went to collect formula. He ended up having to go to several Targets, but we scored a lot of formula for a good price. Within the week I collected a few more coupons from Nonna and Pops, Elise and Dan, Travis' work computer and ventured out to get more formula. We have a TON of formula now, but we are hopeful that we bought enough formula on sale to make it until Esther turns one and we can stop using formula. We will have to see though.
