On Thursday, November 29 we got a call in the morning that we had clearance to fly home with Esther. Praise the Lord, we were so ready to begin our travels home!
After we got the call from our agency Travis quickly got on the phone with Southwest Airlines and was able to book us flights to fly home the same day.
We only had a couple hours to quickly pack our suitcases, drive to the airport, unload, return the rental car, check-in for the flight, and get lunch before starting our long journey home.
Isaiah enjoyed one last ride down our hotel elevator. He got to be such a great helper pushing all the buttons.
Finally at the airport... time for food and then boarding the airplane.
Our family of four on the airplane.
Isaiah didn't sit in our seat for long...because Nonna and Pops are more fun! He played a LOT of i-pad on the airplane, but he is such a good flyer.
He finally crashed and fell asleep on Pops when we were getting close to landing.
Nonna got to hold Esther during the landing and say welcome to Portland!
Elise, Dan, and their boys came to the airport to greet us (and bring our car to us). Elise got to hold Esther for just a couple minutes before we headed home.
Esther is home!
