Isaiah and I went with Nonna again to play with Greyson while Campbell was at preschool and Elise worked. Right after we arrived Greyson went to the drawer with playdough and wanted to play with it! Elise warned us it was a messy activity the previous day, but we took the risk and got it out to play with the boys. Plus Nonna was prepared with fun Christmas cookie cutters to use in the playdough. Greyson (and Isaiah) had fun playing with the red playdough, but store bought just isn't as good as homemade so Nonna to the rescue! Nonna made some yummy smelling cinnamon playdough that everyone enjoyed and there was so much more playdough!
The homemade playdough was too hot to play with at first, but it was almost time for Nonna to go get Campbell from preschool and then have lunch. Isaiah happily played cars at the table while I worked on fixing lunch and Greyson held his blanket and was constantly falling down because he was getting so tired and needed to eat and then take his nap.
Campbell was happy to enjoy the new playdough once he was home from preschool, ate lunch, did his Christmas puzzles with me at the table, and then checked out the playdough fun. He wanted to make sure he made one of each of the cookie cutters so we actually got to have the whole nativity scene while he played instead of just a piece or two.
After a while of doing cookie cutter shapes I started rolling long snakes to make letters...first I made Isaiah, next Campbell, then Greyson, and after that Isaiah requested I make Cheryl. He sure does loves his family!
