Carving Pumpkins (10-20)

Even though we had decided Isaiah probably couldn't do any serious carving this year, Travis and I still wanted to try out some of my creative carving pumpkin pinterest ideas.  So for our Saturday entertainment we set out to carve 3 pumpkins!

We had Isaiah try and help us clean out the pumpkins.  Check out all of his facial expressions (a lot of concerned looks) and goofy hands in our pictures, but he did much better than last year dealing with the goop.  He is not as much of a fan of the goop as Mommy... yet!  He did have a good time stirring the seeds.

One of the creative carving pumpkin pinterest ideas was to use a drill.  We decided to draw a star shape on the pumpkin and then drill holes around the star shape.  Isaiah quickly decided that the drill was too loud for his liking and wanted to be all done with pumpkins.  We told him that he could go up to his bedroom and read books if he didn't like the drill.  And that's what he did.

While we were downstairs carving Isaiah was upstairs happily reading books...and making drill sounds!
