Loves Amazing Journey: Greyson, My Newest Nephew

On Thursday, June 30th I went to the doctor with my sister. She went to the doctor to have a stress test done...while she was there they had a few concerns and decided to send her to the hospital to be monitored and perhaps deliver her baby. Travis ended up picking me up from the hospital and I came back to Nonna and Pops house to wait and see what the news would be. Campbell (and Isaiah) got to go to Woodhaven Park that evening (and almost every day he was at Nonna and Pops house while his Mommy was at the doctors/hospital).

The boys were sweaty after the park trip so we gave them a bath and Campbell put on his big brother pj's in hopes of Greyson being born! However, no Greyson that evening.

On Friday, July 1 I got the boys dressed in matching outfits. I wanted to get a picture of both of them and this is what happened...Isaiah wasn't interested! We played at Nonna and Pops, went to Target, headed to Abby's Pizza for lunch (where we got a phone call that Elise would be having a c-section in the next thirty minutes). Nonna says if Elise ever has another baby she is not going out to eat... when Elise had Campbell she had to have a c-section too and we were eating dinner when we got that call.

Around 2pm we got this picture texted to us...Greyson is here, and is big-10lbs 3 oz!

By mid afternoon we decided that Pops and I should head to the hospital. Travis and Nonna were going to wait for the boys to wake up from their afternoon nap and then head up to the hospital too. When we got to the hospital I got to talk to Elise (via cell phone) and she thought she should be leaving recovery and moving to her room soon...well, things moved slower we thought so we did a lot of waiting! Enough waiting for Pops to pull out the camera and start taking pictures of me waiting!
