We thought this looked like a great senior picture setting.James 1:27 says, “Religion that God accepts as pure and faultless is this; to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” God desires for orphans of all nations to be loved, cared for, and adopted into Christian families-ultimately so they can become saved, and be adopted into His eternal family through Jesus Christ!

When Travis got home he started cutting the wood into the pieces we would need.
I worked on making sure all the weeds were taken out before we put the planter box on top. Once the wood was cut Travis and I worked together to build the sides.
This picture of my shadow was the only one I got of me during this project. I am okay with that since we hadn't showered and were looking grungy.
Our box is built and we are beginning to put in dirt.
The wood had to be inside to get acclimated to our house. It was fun having 23 boxes of wood next to our kitchen table for a few days.
Last Tuesday, Jon (Kristin's dad) drove from CA. He got to our house Tuesday evening and we started tear out. Travis taking the toilet and some flooring too.
Wow, tear out was messy.
Our garage was pretty full this past week.
The bamboo flooring still in its boxes.
This was his progress by Thursday evening. I didn't take any more pictures of Friday because I had a meeting at school on Friday am, then I went to my neighbors house to watch her little boy so she could run a few errands, and then I went to work.
