We drove to the beach house Thursday evening after Travis got off work and we had dinner. It was late when we got there so we put Isaiah to bed, chatted a little, and then went to bed ourselves. Friday morning it was raining, but Isaiah REALLY wanted to see the water (go to the beach)!
This is a picture to document that I am at the beach and it is wet and cold- like it ALWAYS is when I go!
It was seriously pouring rain (thus not many pictures). Isaiah LOVED the beach (seeing the water and picking up sand) and even though he was soaking wet he didn't want to leave.
After changing into dry clothes and eating lunch we headed to the Newport Aquarium. This was Isaiah's second trip to the aquarium and I think he liked it even more this time around! We were thankful there were a lot of inside things to enjoy today since being outside meant being WET!

Micah had fallen asleep in the car on the drive to the aquarium so Amy stayed in the car with him while he slept and we checked out the inside. About the time we finished the inside loop Amy and Micah were joining us...so we did the inside loop again. The kids were very excited to do it all again!

After the second round of the inside loop we went to explore the sharks! We took a family photo for the St. John's and then tried to get the kids to cooperate...
After the Newport Aquarium we decided to go over to the Hatfield Science Center (this was my first experience there) and then out to dinner at Izzy's (Jesse and Travis both have birthdays in October so they had Buy One Get One Free Coupons!) By the time we got home it was basically the kids bedtime and the adults spent the evening chatting.
Saturday morning we played inside for awhile, then went to lunch at Moe's (Trav's favorite and the St. John family had never been before), next we shopped at the Tanger Outlet Mall, and then made one last trip down to the beach before heading home in the late afternoon.
Isaiah loved flying his kite (thanks Uncle Chuck) on the beach!
Time to go home..packing up, saying good-bye and giving hugs!
